It took him the better part of a childhood, but by the time Zac had hiked all 46 of the Adirondacks’ High Peaks, the two paths forward cleared on their own:
1. A working relationship with nature, fulfilled by an impressive resume of land stewardship, seed propagation, and hands-in-the-clay experience from the Teatown Lake Reservation Nature Preserve and the New York State Office of Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation.
2. A personal relationship with nature, discovering an inborn talent for herbalism while harvesting more plants for his own teas, tinctures, and lotions with every trailhead.
Merging his paths at LWLA, Zac specializes in the field, working with clients to maintain the ecological character of each project—and always chasing the next peak.
