With years of experience as a conference planner, Abeni’s logistical prowess for developing timelines, frameworks and budgets followed her from the sidewalks to the meadows. But her day-to-day knack for big-tent organization first bloomed off the clock: as a one-time scuba dive master, problem solving always came naturally.
