Kate has always trusted her shutter finger over her green thumb. Her amateur photography of the Illinois prairies and Vermont forests where she split her childhood beckoned lasting connections with the land, and heralded more than one future career.

Studying Fine Arts at Harvard University and cinematography at the American Film Institute, Kate spent a career in movie studios, putting her cinematic eye to use on feature films. And when the opportunity arrived 25 years later to relocate to Philadelphia from LA, Kate went back to school once again to gain an accounting degree from Villanova, soon landing as LWLA’s financial and HR manager. The oil to our machine, Kate relies on her diverse background to keep our entire operation running, developing and maintaining robust financial and systems analysis that takes place behind the scenes.
