Forested repose rooted in an ecological foundation.

Secluded by the treeline along Connecticut’s Lake Wononscopomuc, LWLA’s design-and-install added layers of vegetative density to the owner’s private residence. Native plantings enrich the local habitat, reducing lake runoff and safeguarding water quality—all the while responding to the contours of existing entry paths and hardscaping.

A series of custom meadows, woodland gardens, and additional walkways and terraces gracefully interact with the existing ecology and rustic cabin  to create a singular, ecologically-sound aesthetic.
