The American Prairie at Wakehurst lives and breathes as a three-acre homage to the new world landscape, distinguished amidst the UK’s famed Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.

Establishing LWLA’s international footprint, our expertise has guided the prairie’s design, installation and management—in tandem with our partners at Land Use Consultants and Wakehurst’s experts—to accommodate North American vegetation within the local climate. Seed mixes were crafted and cultivated in the United States, adapted to retain authenticity and capture a sense of place.
