For a heritage landscape by the Olmsted Brothers, LWLA designed sweeping meadows and a low mow lawn to complement the site’s restorative agriculture program.
The native meadows enhance the rich ecosystems and cultural heritage of this 320-acre property, in keeping with the vision established by Nelson Byrd Woltz Landscape Architects, the project lead. Following design, LWLA’s scope of work included installing the meadows, woody plantings, and conducting initial project maintenance.
LWLA continues to serve as an ongoing consultant to ensure the meadows and other plantings remain diverse, resilient and beautiful.
