On this 28-acre former farm, visitors can soon access open meadows, native gardens, woodland plantings and a waterside overlook.

LWLA was brought in by Andropogon Associates to convert the former agricultural fields into native warm season grass meadows. That initial project has evolved into an ongoing partnership that resulted in the collaborative design and installation of a deer resistant pollinator garden, woodland plantings and a tidal planting to enhance a structure that will allow visitors to see across to the adjacent marine sanctuary.

LWLA has also partnered with the Preserve to conduct the maintenance on this parcel, allowing us to adaptively manage this landscape as it evolves.
